Martín Rapetti is an Associate Researcher at the Center for the Study of the State and Society (CEDES) and an Assistant Professor at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is interested in macroeconomics, finance, economic development and Latin American economics.

His research has been published in Cambridge Journal of Economics, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, International Review of Applied Economics, Journal of Iberian and Latin American Economic History, and Desarrollo Económico, among others. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
